The true meaning of Christmas..

My little brother is right. We have lost the true meaning of Christmas. I remember a few Christmas's long ago when my family would do the 12 days of Christmas for a family. I remember how fun that was and the joy I am sure the families had too. I remember going up to to door, dropping off the girts, ring the door bell and running off. It was a blast. I'm sure those families still don't know who did that. I also remember about 20 years ago when my dad lost his job just before Christmas. I though to myself "WOW" now what? But then later that month I remember a old, dirty, and smelly car pulling up to our house. The next thing I remember seeing is Santa Claus coming out of the car with 2 big bags of gift's for our family. I though someone does remember the meaning of Christmas. Well 20 years later it is happening again to my own family. Just like my dad I to have lost my job just before Christmas. Now Santa has not pulled up just yet but, someone started to do the 12 days of Christmas with my family. It started on Saturday. I went outside to check on something and when I opened the door there was a gift bag sitting on my porch with a card. Now I don't remember the door bell ring but, I through hmmm but, the next night I heard the door bell rang and went to the door and found a card tapped to our door with gift cards inside. I told my wife about it. I also told her about when I was a kid and how we did the 12 days of Christmas to a few families. She said that someone must be doing it to our family now. Now the kids loves this and ask every night what the gifts are and just have the biggest smiles on their faces. So does my wife and I. Now that is the true meaning of Christmas!
